Yup! Still at it. Low tech, low maintenance and low IQ. Keeps me going. All is well in the northern tier, so to speak, and looking forward to a busy summer. Won't spend a lot of time pontificating on government, growing old, or the weather. What else is there? The Spartans vs. the Wolverines? The Tigers? The Lions? The older I get the slimmer the options for conversation become. Sex, drugs and rock and roll!!!???? Topics of nostalgic humor. Remember when we used to...
I am, however, at this late date, rewriting my biography. I'm reminiscing and riffing on some little known facts such as, "traveled with Chuck Berry" (he picked me and a friend up hitchhiking in 1969), "played with the great Wynton Marsalis" (basketball, circa 2005), "taught Bob Seger to play "Against the Wind" (knock down 9 iron at Glen Oaks Golf Course in 1988). I've had a great time if you let me tell the story. Or, as I've heard so often, there are three sides to every story. Yours, mine and the truth.
Here's hoping we each find our truth (with a minimum of parenthetical references). Until next time...or...see ya this summer!!
